Workshop Information

Wedding rings can be the most important pieces of jewellery you will wear, so why not make them yourself under expert guidance of award winning Jeweller Rebecca Oldfield. No previous jewellery making experience necessary to take part in the workshop, all instruction will be given on the day. You will learn how to saw, file, solder, form and polish your wedding ring under Rebecca's instruction. Prior to your workshop, you will have the opportunity to discuss design ideas, metal choices, ring sizes and book a workshop date in. Once Rebecca has all the details of the rings you'd like to make, she can then give you a more accurate price for your rings before your workshop. What's included: Expert tuition to make your wedding rings from scratch Access to all tools and professional equipment Endless cups of tea/coffee & snacks A glass of bubbles with your afternoon tea box created to suit any dietary requirements by a local catering company Luxury ring boxes to keep your rings safe before/after the big day Cost: The workshop costs £340 per couple, for your exclusive use of the studio for the day, including all tools and expertise from Jeweller Rebecca Oldfield. The cost of the ring material is additional to the workshop cost, these details can be found on our FAQ page and in the images for a rough guide. Optional Extras: -Hallmarking (£60 for both rings) *Please note if you are looking to have your rings hallmarked, you won’t be able to take your rings home the same day as hallmarking is done at The Birmingham Assay Office and generally takes around 2 weeks -Engraving (£60 for both rings for script engraving inside) -Stone settings (from £30) You will leave the workshop with your rings ready for your big day. Workshops usually take approximately 4-5 hours, depending on complexity of wedding ring design.
