Wedding rings can be the most important pieces of jewellery you will wear, so why not make them yourself under expert guidance of award winning Jeweller Rebecca Oldfield. No previous jewellery making experience necessary to take part in the workshop, all instruction will be given on the day. You will learn how to saw, file, solder, form and polish your wedding ring under Megan’s instruction. Prior to your workshop, you will have the opportunity to discuss design ideas/metal choices with Rebecca either via a complimentary consultation at Rebecca's workshop, or over email. The cost of the ring material is additional to the workshop cost, these details can be found on our FAQ page. Rebecca can discuss material costs and options prior to making your booking. Please see below for a rough price guide for the precious metals available. The prices here range due to fluctuations in metal prices and ring sizes from small to large. Once Rebecca has all the details of the rings you'd like to make, she can then give you a more accurate price for your rings before your workshop. OPTIONAL EXTRAS Hallmarking (£40 for both rings) *Please note if you are looking to have your rings hallmarked, you won’t be able to take your rings home the same day as hallmarking is done at The Birmingham Assay Office and generally takes around 2 weeks Engraving (£50 for both rings for script engraving inside) Afternoon tea lunch with Prosecco (£60 per couple) Stone settings (from £50) You will leave the workshop with your rings ready for your big day. Workshops usually take approximately 3-4 hours, depending on complexity of wedding ring design. The cost of the workshop is £340 per couple, details below on what is included in the price, and the price of the material is added onto the cost of the workshop. Metal choices available are - sterling silver, 9ct & 18ct white/rose/yellow gold, platinum or palladium.
