Participation Rebecca reserves the right to refuse or remove any attendee (minor or adult) who does not follow safety instructions, behaves inappropriately, or fails to meet the stated age or supervision requirements. Cancellation & Amendments Policy Rebecca Oldfield may cancel workshops due to unforeseen circumstances; if so, you’ll be offered an alternative date or full refund. If you need to cancel, notify Rebecca via email at info@rebeccaoldfield.com or call 02920 636646. Refunds: More than 14 days before: Full refund minus 10% processing fee. 7–14 days: 50% refund. 3–7 days: Can reschedule within 6 months, no refund. Within 48 hours or no-show: No refund or reschedule. Amendments: Changes to date, workshop, or participant details must be emailed at least 48 hours prior. One amendment per booking is allowed; further changes may incur a £30 admin fee. Please carefully select your workshop date. Gift Vouchers Valid 12 months from purchase. Not refundable but may be amended per above. Transfers to workshops of higher value require payment of the difference; no refund if voucher exceeds workshop price. Minimum Age The minimum age to attend is 13. Children under 13 cannot participate. Participants under 16 must be accompanied by a paying, registered parent or legal guardian for the full workshop. The accompanying adult assumes full responsibility for the minor’s participation, conduct, and safety.

Workshop Information

Learn how to make a silver ring from scratch in this two hour ring making workshop. Suitable for complete beginners. You will learn a range of jewellery making techniques from measuring, filing, soldering and sawing to forming and polishing in order to complete your silver ring. You will have the option to choose different types of silver wire (flat and D section) with a width of 6mm and can choose to upgrade to a stacking set (2 rings) on the day for an additional £30 - The second ring will be made with a 2mm wire of your choosing. Please get in touch if these dates do not suit and would like to book a private class for you and a friend. All you need to bring with you is glasses if you need them for close up work and please wear workshop appropriate clothing (no open toe shoes). *Minimum age 16 years old for independent participants. Participants aged 13–15 may attend if accompanied by a paying parent or legal guardian for the full duration of the workshop. Please note: This workshop has now been merged into our expanded Silver Ring Making Workshops. As part of this update, available dates are no longer shown on this page. This change was introduced to allow for more time slots, increased availability, and the option to run mixed workshops where participants can make different styles within the same session. If these dates and times do not suit please contact Rebecca who will do her best to accommodate. This workshop can be combined with the Stacking Ring Workshop for groups who wish to mix what they create.
