A Christmas Update: New Workshops, Big Milestones & Upcoming Changes

You may have noticed things have been a little quiet from me lately… I promise I haven’t disappeared! I’ve had my elf hat firmly on in the workshop, making steady headway with a flurry of wonderful commissions, repairs, remodels, and of course—teaching so many of you in the studio. It’s been a wonderfully busy, joy-filled season behind the scenes.
Though I did slip away recently to the beautiful Wentworth Woodhouse, where I proudly collected my certificates for the Heritage Crafts 2025 Awards—a truly special moment that I can’t wait to share more about soon. And yes… it required a bit of a transformation. I had to wash the rouge from my face, paint my nails, and swap my usual workshop clothes for actual “lounge suit” attire. Quite the upgrade from soldering apron and safety specs! But it was well worth the effort for such a meaningful occasion.
With Christmas just around the corner, the workshop is buzzing with festive energy, handmade gifts, and that glorious creative chaos that only December can bring. And with so much happening—new workshops, updates for the New Year, important announcements, and a few exciting surprises—there’s plenty to catch up on.
So grab a cosy drink, settle in, and let’s dive into everything happening as we head towards Christmas and 2026.
Christmas Cut-Off Times
To make sure your gifts arrive in time, here are this year’s deadlines:
Collections will run until 4pm on Christmas Eve. You can book your collection slot easily at checkout—just select “Collection”.
📦 Last Posting Date!
I use Royal Mail Special Delivery only, and the final posting date for Christmas delivery is: 12pm, Monday 22nd December
If you need something sooner or want to guarantee a specific piece, please don’t wait until the last minute—the earlier, the better!
Handcrafted Jewellery — and How to Request Restocks
Every jewellery piece I create is individually handcrafted with care, intention, and traditional silversmithing techniques. This is true slow fashion—designed and made in small batches, at a gentle pace, with a strong focus on quality and sustainability.
I work mindfully to ensure ethical making practices are at the heart of every piece, using materials responsibly and creating with a zero-waste approach wherever possible. Nothing is rushed, nothing is bulk-produced—just thoughtful jewellery made to last.
Pieces are available:
directly through the website, online
from the workshop, arrange a visit
in various galleries across Wales, including Makers Guild Wales & Mostyn Gallery
If a piece you love is currently out of stock, please use the “Back in Stock Request” button on the website. These requests genuinely help guide what I make next—and pieces with the highest demand are moved to the top of the list.
A Huge Milestone: Over 100 Students Taught This Year!
Thanks to all of you, I reached my Christmas goal early—over 100 people taught in the workshop this year!
I’m incredibly grateful for your support, your enthusiasm, and for choosing to spend your time learning a craft with me. It’s been such a joy watching so many of you discover (or rediscover!) your creativity.
Rising Metal Markets & What It Means for the Workshop
— Why Now Is the Time to Book
As many of you are aware, the price of precious metals has risen dramatically this year. I’ve done everything I can to keep workshop prices steady for as long as possible, and I will continue to honour the current prices in the run-up to Christmas. However, new pricing will be released shortly after.
This is something I take absolutely no pleasure in doing, but in order to remain a viable small business—and to avoid compromising on the quality of the workshops, tools, or materials—it’s a necessary step.
For those who may not know how the market affects things: the price of precious metals is shaped by global supply and demand, mining costs, international trading, currency shifts, and major world events. These changes impact the cost of raw materials for everyone working with silver and gold, especially small-batch makers like myself.
To put this year’s increases into perspective: gold has risen by 55.85%, while silver has climbed by a whopping 75%.
As a handcrafted jewellery business purchasing metals in smaller batches, any market rise affects material costs immediately—both for workshops and finished pieces. I’ve absorbed these increases for as long as possible, but to continue offering high-quality workshops, ethically sourced materials, and the standard of craftsmanship you expect, a price adjustment is unavoidable.
All current prices will remain in place until Christmas, so if you’ve been considering booking a workshop or purchasing gift vouchers, now truly is the perfect time.
And just to reassure you—any vouchers or workshop bookings made for 2026 will not be affected by this upcoming price increase.
But It’s Not All Doom and Gloom! ✨
In fact, there’s something wonderfully exciting to balance things out…
By very popular request, I’m thrilled to announce a brand-new workshop:
✨ Sterling Silver Spinner Ring Workshop — 4 Hours of Creativity!
You can now make your very own sterling silver spinner ring in a relaxed, hands-on session at the workshop. This has been one of the most asked-for classes this year, and I’m delighted to finally add it to the line-up.
It’s fun, therapeutic, beginner-friendly, and you leave with a stunning piece of jewellery you’ve made yourself—what’s not to love?

This workshop will be live on the website from Sunday 7th December with workshop dates beginning in the new year - add to your diaries!
More Flexibility: Mixed Workshops Are Also Coming
More Flexibility: Mixed Workshops Are Also Coming
To give you even more choice—especially when booking with friends or as a group—I’m merging some of the most popular workshops to create mixed classes! This means you can now enjoy a session together even if you each want to make something different. It also frees up space on the website to introduce the exciting new workshops I have planned, and allows me to offer more available dates for everyone to attend.
The first merged workshops will be:
Stacking Rings + Textured Rings
Stacking Bangles + Textured Bangles
Pendants + Earrings
If you're looking for even more variation or a fully tailored experience, private workshops will still be available to customise exactly to your group’s ideas.
These changes will be reflected on the website after Christmas, when the price updates come into effect. However, please rest assured: If you’ve already booked a workshop for the New Year—or plan to book before these changes go live—your workshop will not be affected.
Thank You For an Incredible Year
Your support truly keeps this small business going, and I’m so excited for what’s ahead in 2026 several exciting new opportunities have already come my way, each one opening fresh possibilities for growth, creativity, and collaboration. I’m keeping a few details under wraps for now, but I look forward to sharing more with you in due course. Whether you’re booking your first workshop, returning for another, or gifting the experience to someone special—thank you for being part of this creative community. Here’s to more making, more learning, and even more beautiful handmade pieces in the year ahead!
A Look Ahead: New Collections Coming in 2026
While the workshop is currently filled with festive creating and Christmas gifting, I’m also quietly working behind the scenes on something very special for the year ahead. Brand-new jewellery collections are coming in 2026, and I can’t wait to share them with you.
These upcoming pieces will continue to reflect the heart of the brand—slow-made, ethically crafted, meaningful jewellery designed to be worn, loved, and treasured for years to come. Each collection is being developed thoughtfully, with new textures, forms, and symbolisms inspired by nature, storytelling, and the craft itself.
It’s still early days, and I’m taking my time to ensure every piece feels right—but I promise the wait will be worth it. I’ll be sharing sneak peeks with my subscribers, behind-the-scenes moments, and the creative process as these collections come to life.
For now, just know that 2026 is shaping up to be a beautiful year, and I’m so excited to take you along on the journey.
