Angular Zircote wood and sterling silver lidded box, 2026. Inspired by Rebecca’s 2023 sterling silver teapot and her study of Japanese teaware, the angular form translates ceramic influence into turned wood. Rare Zircote, with its dramatic flowing grain, is paired with a hand-chased silver lid textured to echo the natural markings of the timber. Finished with a recessed hallmarked silver disc in the base, the work continues an exploration of material-led design between wood and silver.
